JCCI Resource Development Services is growing
and the portfolio of our work has expanded. We are doing more and different
kinds of work with different types of colleges and organizations. Some
achievements of the past few years include helping clients to secure grants
for:
U.S. Department of Education
Support
- A GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness
and Readiness of Undergraduate Programs) grant.
- A CCAMPIS (Childcare Access
Means Parents in School) grant from the U.S. Department of
Education.
- $66 million in funding from
Title III, Part A of the Higher Education Act (Institutional
Aid Program).
- $7 million in funding from
Title V of the Higher Education Act (Hispanic Servicing Institutions
Program).
- $ 2 million in Student Support
Services grants from the "TRIO" Programs in 2004.
- A MSEIP (Minority Science Engineering
Improvement Program) grant.
- FIPSE (Fund for the Improvement
of Postsecondary Education) grants.
National Science Foundation (NSF)
Funds
- Four ATE (Advanced Technological
Education) Program grants
funded by the NSF. JCCI personnel helped to craft, write, and edit these
successful grants.
- CCLI (Course, Curriculum and
Laboratory Improvement) Program grants.
- Computer Science Engineering
and Mathematics Scholarship (CSEMS) support.
U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) Grants
- A HUD COPC (Community Outreach
Partnership Center) grant.
- An Office of University Partnership
Grant for Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
Other Funded Projects
- A Public Telecommunications
Facilities Program (PTFP) grant from the U.S. Department of Commerce.
- International education projects funded
through NAFSA- Association of International Educators.
- Information Technology Training Project
funded through the SBC Foundation.
