FUNDED Title III proposals
 

We have a selection of winning proposals for a variety of projects from colleges and universities across the country. These include 2 and 4 year institutions, both public and private.

2010

    1. Southeast Two-year Public
    Restructure developmental education as a centralized unit, and provide supplemental instruction, learning communities, professional development, advisor training, and improved technology.

    2. Midwest Four-year Private
    Strengthen academic advising, focusing on academic success for undeclared and at-risk students, to improve retention, progression and graduation rates. Enhance decision-making by increasing institutional reports and validating the data.


2009

    3. Northwest Two-year Public
    Increase retention and graduation through faculty advising, a customized advising module, and learning communities. Improve capacity to analyze institutional data for improved student outcomes and institutional performance.

    4. South Two-year Public
    Better serve at-risk students by improved academic advising, consolidated data and outcome assessment, plus faculty development and a data tracking system.

    5. Midwest Four-year Private
    Creating a technology-rich teaching and learning environment so faculty can best use emerging instructional software to develop discipline-specific materials.

    6. South Two-year Public
    Improve the capacity of Student and Academic Services. Build strong intervention and supplemental instructional services to provide immediate assistance to students experiencing academic difficulties and increase retention and persistence rates.

2008

    7. Northwest Two-year Public
    Develop and implement a data-driven comprehensive assessment plan tied to institutional reporting and planning. Provide faculty professional development opportunities and quantitative tools for program review.

    8. Midwest Four-year Private
    Expand uses of state-of-the-art interactive and assistive technologies plus faculty and staff knowledge in their use. Enhance faculty and staff understanding and use of outcome-based assessment measures and institutional data.

    9. Midwest Two-year Public
    Establish a comprehensive distance learning (DL) program. Increase DL course sessions, faculty delivering DL courses, and students enrolled in them. Provide course management and a DL faculty studio.

    10. Southeast Two-year Public
    Increase student success in developmental education through program reform. Incorporate learning communities and strengthen professional development, student tracking, orientation, advising, and placement.

    11. Southeast Two-year Public
    Strengthen and provide for renovation of Student Success Center. Address growth of student enrollment and non-traditional course offerings through enhanced online and blended course. Provide professional development.

2006

    12. South Four-year Private
    Replacement of an outdated Management Information System (MIS) to better support students, faculty, and administrative services and ultimately improve fiscal stability. Provide re-engineering and restructuring to accommodate new MIS.

    13. Southeast Two-year Public
    Increase retention through a comprehensive online student services portal to provide expanded orientation, increased access to advisors, an online educational plan, an early warning module, and a more cohesive support system for students.

    14. Southeast Two-year Public
    Strengthen academic programs and services through better assessment of student learning and institutional effectiveness plus assessment-based professional development. Increase student engagement, retention and graduation.

    15. Southeast Two-year Public
    Increasing student retention by strengthening instructional support and enhancing student engagement. Expansion of faculty development activities to enhance these efforts.

    16. Northeast Two-year Public
    Improve student academic retention and success through a Student Support Network, a better new student enrollment process and Freshman Seminar course, plus developmental education learning communities and supplemental instruction.
