No, JCCI Resource Development Services is not a membership organization. We are an educational consulting firm specializing in resource development and fund-raising.

JCCI Resource Development Services is committed to providing top-quality, individualized service to clients to help them address their identified needs.

3. Does JCCI Resource Development Services work exclusively with two- and four-year colleges?
JCCI Resource Development Services is prepared to work with organizations both within and outside of higher education. While originally founded to help meet the growing needs of junior and community colleges, the firm’s client base now extends to four-year colleges and universities. We also assist and work with public and private K-12 schools and educational associations.

4. How long has JCCI Resource Development Services been in existence?
JCCI Resource Development Services has been in business for more than 30 years. Prior to September 1, 2005, the firm was known as The Junior and Community College Institute.

5. Where is JCCI Resource Development Services located?
JCCI Resource Development Services offices are located in Rockville, MD just outside Washington, DC, a short subway stop from federal government offices, Congressional offices, and national association headquarters. Several JCCI Resource Development Services Associates reside in other areas of the country.

6. How do you charge for services?
JCCI Resource Development Services customizes contract services to fit each client's needs and budget. Together with institutional representatives, we carefully define the scope of work, making sure we have mutual understanding about the level of effort, the cost involved, and the client's budget. JCCI Resource Development Services can work on a monthly or daily basis. We engage in short-term contracts of three to six months for special projects, and in annual or long-term, ongoing contracts.

7. Does JCCI Resource Development Services work on commission?
JCCI Resource Development Services works only on a fee-for-service basis.

8. What is your success with clients in securing federal grants?
JCCI Resource Development Services has been successful in many funding arenas, helping public and private institutions to secure funding of various types. JCCI Resource Development Services clients have "beaten the odds" in many highly competitive funding programs, including the U.S. Department of Education’s Title III program, TRIO and FIPSE Programs, the U.S. Department of Labor’s Community- Based Job Training Programs, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Outreach Program Center (COPC) Program, and several National Science Foundation (NSF) grant competitions.
